When I start up my game I get a error message from SkyUI that says that my Skse is not running, I know this is not the case because if I type in the console "getskseversion" then it tells me I am running Skse version 1. If someone could please tell me what could be causing this. I would be very grateful and I would like to get back to Tamriel soon!

I am running the game from the skse launcher not the steam launcher. That's strange. Are they installed correctly? Maybe some files are missing.
